The Primary Weapons Systems Enhanced Pistol Buffer Tube is based off of their popular Enhanced Buffer Tube, but is compatible with standard pistol braces and cheek pieces.
Unique lighting cuts help reduce weight by 1oz, while extended carrier support lips help with smoother cycling.
This also includes Primary Weapons System Ratchet lock castle nut and QD end plate.
The ACE Pistol tube Assembly Uses a carbine buffer and spring for the ultimate in reliability. The overall length is only 7” from the back edge of the receiver. Includes: 1.25” ambidextrous sling mount, billet machined gusset (to retain detent and keep extension from unscrewing), special short receiver extension tube, foam overtube (you cut to length), CAR buffer and spring. The DSC Pistol Tube Assembly is primarily the same, however it does not have the outer foam cover, and the tube has the standard end plate.
SPECS: Outside Diameter of 1.187 on the smooth portion.
Dual action, captive-spring system cushions the recoil impulse to reduce gun wear and tame muzzle jump for fast follow-up shots and accurate shot placement. Full-length, stainless steel guide rod fully supports the recoil spring through the entire compression/expansion cycle to provide smoother cycling and improved function. A second, fully enclosed spring in the guide rod acts like a car shock absorber to slow slide velocity and reduce frame impact. Prolongs the life of frame and slide without compromising reliability. ?Available with recoil springs calibrated for Government model in .45 ACP. Easy, drop-in installation requires no alterations to gun.
SPECS: 416 stainless steel, natural matte finish. Fits full-size Government model with 5” barrel and clones. Instructions included.
When firing a modern pistol, the slide flies backward at great speed, and then comes to an immediate stop against the frame during recoil. This force and impact to the frame is constantly weakening the slide and vibrating the internal parts, causing cracks and malfunction and turning movements in the shooters wrist. This sudden impact causes a violent muzzle jump which temporarily throws the gun off target and upwards, causing a need for dual-action buffers.
Our Frame-Saver Dual Action Recoil Springs offer these advantages:
